Life is what you make of it. What the fuck does that really mean?

First off, I’m fine, I’m really fine. I just felt like writing something for the spur of the moment.
We hear this term and variations of it. We say it is so inspirational and it has a chance to change our lives.
We get in a rut and can’t seem to climb out of the well. We continue to feel like shit and just sit there, there isn’t much hope out of it.
We see people doing positive things and taking charge of their lives. Some like cubicle life and others are doing other activities to provide fulfillment for themselves.
We are constantly searching and waiting for the next big idea, change in our lives. We look at television shows, read multiple publications, look at other people’s lives and feel this is it.
Again, most of the people in the world, just keep living the life they resent and would love to start everything over or just end it all.
It’s my birthday. Please enjoy it, too!!!
I’m 28. I feel great. In good condition and ready for the next step.
This isn’t going to be about me reflecting and looking back at the past year. As I see it, I’m always reflecting, I’m always talking, and writing about the situation at hand.
Today, of course, I’m going to enjoy it. I know I will reflect on it in some way, but will just let things go.
I have goals, dreams, drives, just like anybody else. In my case, I’m happy that I’m doing most of them right now and will continue to elevate myself.
I think I’m done writing. I think I’m done with this reflecting in a sense.
Appreciation to Esther
Many times, we don’t know what we will learn from somebody else. It could be one aspect of our daily routine that this person sees and politely or not tells you to change. We are in our own world and feel that the world is centered around us. Most of the time we feel that we are the makers of our own destiny and steps in life. BUT, this is a big BUT, this shit isn’t true. We need people to help us and we need to give back and help others, too. At times, we just don’t know the best way, but, for the most part, I feel the best way a person can help out others is to be aware and just say something: this is what this person has done!
This is what this appreciation is all about that this very person gave me. A realization that life is all about helping each other and not asking for anything in return.
I’ve known this person for almost 2 years, I met her through my girlfriend. During the first year of my girlfriend and I’s relationship I didn’t see her much. But since the beginning of this year she and I have been helping each other stay on track with our writing–she more of the keeping me on track than the other way around.
For now, this person is a high school teacher, but wants to be a full-time writer, and in fact, has just finished her first novel. I’ve read a couple of pages, and would like to read the whole novel, but just holding the notebook filled with pages of her work was quite amazing.

Body Cleansing/Workout Challenge Before my Birthday
7:30 in the morning on a Saturday isn’t wahat I call sleeping in. When I sleep in, I don’t set my alarm, I just let my body wake up when it is ready, and when I that happens I fall back asleep.
The reason why I got up and went through what I did is by far one of the hardest challenges I’ve done this year (this and that).
How this Challenge got Started
When I was drinking a cider beer, Strongbow, a friend challenged me to a workout-get-in-shape-detox challenge. He used to be a trainer and helped many people lose weight. When somebody challenges me I like to prove them wrong. However, the funny thing about this situation was that I already told myself that I was going to go crazy with my workout for 2 weeks (birthday is on the 25th).
My original plain was to run in the morning and afternoon, which is 2.4 miles each stretch, and do some other workout exercises; that I’ve started and haven’t done in some time (squats and push-ups).
I still don’t know what my friend has in stored for me. He did mention that it will be 60% dietary and 40% exercise. From what I can gather right now, I think I will be doing tons of running, tons of fiber eating, and many hours of sleep (which I greatly need). Most of my work out will occur after work. I don’t know what else is going to be involved. However, already, I’m seeing improvements in my body and conditioning.

Business Experiment Has Begun: Etsy.com

I am officially in business! After nearly two weeks of getting my first batch of purses and handbags (22), I finally put all of them online. I haven’t gotten any emails or purchases yet but know with a little of marketing, the business will start to make me money.
I can’t tell much difference from one bag to the next, besides the colors of the bags.
It took me roughly 5 hours to photograph and upload the photos onto my computer, measure and write the descriptions, post onto Etsy. Right now I have a shitty system. I could have done everything in 3 hours.
Already Thinking of a New System of Operation

What I’ve Been Up to Lately

Here are a couple of activities I’ve been up to the past couple of weeks.
-House Hunting – I’ve been looking for a house for the past 3 weeks or so. This was sparked by my trip to Austin (well Buda), visiting old college friends. I’m at the point of actually looking at houses. I’ve done the credit check, found a realtor, qualified for a house loan, and narrow down areas around town of interest. More on this later.
